Credit Card Debt

One of the major causes of bankruptcy for many individuals today is credit card debt. And the reason for this is that most people do not perform requisite research before getting a credit card, they usually just reach out for the nearest or most convenient one to them. This is a bad way of accessing a credit card. They do not do in-depth reading to see any underlying charge or fee associated and by the time they find out, they are already encumbered.

Many of us may feel that we are unable to get the excessive debt under control on our own. We may decide to turn to a credit counseling agency or a debt consolidation company to help us tackle this stressful situation. However, not all credit counseling and debt consolidation companies have our best interests at heart.
